| The
high quality standard of starline®'s technical equipment
and application is the basis for the economic success of the licensed
technologies. All trenchless technologies are therefore certified
in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001. Detailed instructions and a comprehensive
training program insure the technology's high quality standard. Custom-made
quality management systems are developed for each technology to guarantee
the application's quality by independent and built-in monitoring systems.
In addition the licensor has also developed a comprehensive quality
assurance system for the required materials and technical equipment
insuring the consistently high quality of all materials by an incoming
and outgoing merchandise monitoring system. |

| Prior
to releasing new developments and optimized technical procedures,
these developments are subject to comprehensive inspections and tests
on the licensor's construction sites in Europe. Thus making sure that
sTT's customers obtain only fully developed systems. |
In
addition to European testing, tests were conducted in 1998 to evaluate
the starline® product and installation process. Tests
were designed by GRI and IGT, conducted at Brooklyn Union Gas company
in Brooklyn, New York, and witnessed by representatives from leading
utilities and contractors in the U. S. Furthermore, longterm tests
have been performed by Battelle Institute, a prominent technical organization
in the U.S. Both the product and process were deemed "fit" for the
purpose of rehabilitating gas pipes in the U.S.
